> 5052 marine grade aluminum plate sheet

5052 marine grade aluminum plate sheet contains nominally contains  2.5% magnesium & 0.25% chromium. It has good workability, medium static strength, high fatigue strength, good weldability, and very good corrosion resistance, especially in marine atmospheres. It also has the low density and excellent thermal conductivity common to all aluminium alloys.

5052 marine grade aluminum

The exceptional corrosion resistance of 5052 marine grade aluminum plate sheet alloy against seawater and salt spray makes it a primary candidate for the failure-sensitive large marine structures, like tanks of Liquefied natural gas tankers, typical applications include marine, aircraft, heat exchangers, fuel lines and tanks, flooring panels etc.
