Classification of 5086 marine aluminum plate
Due to the role of magnesium, 5086 anti-rust aluminum plates can be divided into three categories according to the magnesium content, including low magnesium content, medium magnesium content, and high magnesium content.
1. The lower magnesium content is non-heat-strengthened, low-strength aluminum alloy, which has good weldability and performs well in the marine environment.
2. Rust-proof aluminum plates with medium magnesium content generally have high plasticity and medium corrosion resistance in pipes and vessels.
3. Rust-proof aluminum plates with high magnesium content are generally used for ordinary welded pipes, liquid containers and other parts.
The 5086 anti-rust aluminum plate belongs to aluminum alloy products with low magnesium content and resistance to the marine environment and climate. The density of anti-rust aluminum plate is larger than other aluminum plates, and it has very good corrosion resistance.
